• Single Purpose: The MyDeskMate Chrome Extension is designed solely to provide users with direct, one-click access to document tools, including PDF compression, format conversion (PDF, Word, Excel, JPG), passport photo resizing, photo enhancement, and watermark removal.
• User Data Collection: The extension does NOT collect, harvest, transmit, or log any personally identifiable information (PII). We do NOT collect names, email addresses, browsing history, website activity, personal communications, keystrokes, financial details, or passwords.
• Data Handling & Processing: Any document or image selected by the user is processed strictly in-memory either via local client-side browser execution or through secure encrypted HTTPS requests to our server to fulfill the specific action requested by the user. Files are never stored permanently, are never used for machine learning training, and are automatically purged from memory immediately upon completion of the download.
• Data Storage: The extension uses chrome.storage.local exclusively on the user's local device to store UI preferences (such as the last selected tool) and an anonymous installation identifier. No personal data is stored on remote servers.
• Data Sharing & Third-Party Disclosure: We do NOT sell, lease, rent, trade, or transfer any user data, document contents, or metadata to third parties, advertisers, marketing networks, or data brokers. No user data is ever shared with external parties.
